About 3G Sydney
Since the end of WW2, the personal testimony of survivors has been integral to the teaching of Holocaust history and a powerful tool for moral instruction. Now, as the survivor generation dies out, the memorialisation of the Holocaust takes on new urgency. At 3G Sydney, we believe that the grandchildren of Holocaust survivors are uniquely position to take up the mantel, relaying their intimate knowledge of lived Holocaust experience to future generations.
We invite you to join us on the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are planning our next workshop for late in 2025. Please get in touch to express your interest and we will be in touch when the dates are finalised.
Most of our storytellers are grandchildren of Holocaust survivors (what is often referred to as third-generation survivors) however you don't have to be. We also work with second-generation descendants (although typically these are people who are generationally aligned with the third-generation). We also teach people to tell the stories of other Holocaust survivors with whom they had a personal connection, such as aunts, uncles or close family friends.
If you are interested in getting involved, either as a workshop participant, story-teller, volunteer administrator or philanthropist, please get in touch.
3G refers to the concept of a 'third-generation' survivor of the Holocaust. 3G Sydney was created to emulate and extend the work of 3GNY, who first established a story-telling program in New York City to teach New York based 3Gs how to tell their grandparents' Holocaust stories to students in local schools. 3G Sydney is Australia's version of the same program.
